Fancy Dress Event

A Fancy Dress Event was organized for our little ones on the theme “Our Nation, Our Pride” on 31/01/2026 (Saturday) at 1.00 pm.
This event aimed to help children understand and appreciate the diversity and culture of our nation in an enjoyable manner.
Children represented Indian National Symbols in a creative way and Indian States through their traditional costumes.

Inter house quiz competition

On Saturday, 13th September, a quiz competition was organized for the students of Std. 3 and 4. The theme of the quiz was “Earth and Our Ecosystem”, aiming to deepen children’s understanding of healthy food habits,our planet, its natural resources, and the need for conservation. The quiz encouraged curiosity, teamwork, and quick thinking. Students participated with great enthusiasm and impressed everyone with their awareness and love for nature. Well done eco- champs!

UNION BUDGET 2026

PRACHAR AND PRASAR ABHIYAN
“An insightful and engaging awareness session on the latest Budget 2026 was organized in the school auditorium on *8/2/26 for staff and general public at large . The session was led by our CEO, Manisha Ma’am, whose visionary leadership and deep understanding brought clarity to the key provisions, reforms, and priorities of the budget. Through her thoughtful explanations and practical insights, she empowered the audience with a broader perspective on the budget’s impact on education and other aspects which has futuristic positive impact on prudent man and our country . The session reflected her continued commitment to knowledge sharing and overall development.”

Onam Celebration at Xavier’s

The festival of Onam was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the teachers and staff of Xavier’s. The occasion was marked by a traditional display of culture and togetherness. Staff members dressed in customary Kerala attire, adding grace and dignity to the celebration. A vibrant Pookalam (floral rangoli) was artistically designed, symbolizing harmony and prosperity. The event concluded with a traditional  variety of authentic Kerala delicacies, which was enjoyed by all. The celebration not only highlighted the richness of Indian traditions but also strengthened the spirit of unity among the staff.

Fancy Dress Fun with Creativity and Confidence by our Primary students

 Fancy Dress Competition was held on 20th September, 2025 with the theme Sport’s Equipments & Sources of Water. The event was full of energy and excitement. Our little ones were dressed as Sports Stars & Water friends.

Through Fancy Dress our Primary students spread the message – Good Health & Save Water.

Celebrating the art of storytelling with our young narrators

The Primary Section hosted a Storytelling Competition that gave children an opportunity to display their creativity and confidence. With expressive narration, clear voice, and imaginative storytelling, our young participants captivated the audience. The event not only promoted reading and speaking skills but also encouraged self-expression. Well done to all our little storytellers for their wonderful performance!

A BOND OF GRATITUDE AND PATRIOTISM

On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, our students had a heartwarming celebration with the support PILLARS of our SOCIETY — the municipal workers and policemen. The children lovingly crafted rakhis in the tricolour of our national flag and tied them on the wrists of the helpers as a gesture of love, respect and gratitude for their tireless service in keeping our surroundings safe, secure and clean. This special celebration not only strengthened the bond between the children and the helpers but also helped our young ones understand the values of respect, patriotism, responsibility and community spirit. “Healthy Me Festival”

The Healthy Me Festival was celebrated in the last week of July with great enthusiasm. Children participated in engaging activities that focused on important aspects of health & well-being. They learnt about food choices, importance of exercise, oral hygiene, staying hydrated and getting enough rest. A special Height/ Weight session helped children understand physical growth & self care.

Greenfinity- ‘Ek ped maa ke naam’

Eco club members of St.Xavier’s High School & Junior College participated in the campaign(‘ Ek ped maa ke naam ‘) promoting tree plantation in honour of mothers. They visited classrooms raising awareness about environmental responsibilities and the importance of nurturing nature and encouraged students to plant a sappling for a greener future.

Storytelling Competition – Primary Section

A Storytelling Competition was held on 25th July, 2025. Our enthusiastic young storytellers took to the stage with confidence and creativity. From folktales to adventures, children brought their story to life with expression and voice-modulation. Enjoy these glimpses of the event.

Bright Buddies Club

It was our first Bright Buddies Club meet on 26th July, 2025 (Saturday) — a beautiful beginning! Parents and children bonded through fun-filled activities, engaging stories, music and dance. A morning full of smiles, laughter and shared moments!

PUDDLE PARTY FUN

Our little ones celebrated the joy of the monsoon with a lively Puddle Party! Dressed in colourful raincoats and rain shoes, they splashed in puddles, danced in the rain and embraced the season with laughter and cheer.
The turf echoed with giggles as children explored and enjoyed nature in it’s purest form.

Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidyanaik Competition

Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidyanaik Competition is a unique 3 stage competition for Std. VI & IX. School teachers imparted training to the students to prepare for theory, practical and Viva round. After clearing all the three rigorous test rounds, following students have brought laurels to our institution.

VERMICOMPOST

We have introduced Vermicomposting as part of our environmental education programme. The K.G children are involved in this learning experience, where they feed dried leaves, fruit peels and other (organic waste) to the worms & observe how nature recycles waste into nutrient rich compost.

Exploring Solar Energy

A hands-on learning experience for our

Pre-Primary children! As part of our ongoing efforts to teach sustainability & environmental awareness, the little ones were taken to the school terrace to explore the solar panels installed in our campus. This hands-on experience helped them to understand how our own school is contributing to a greener future. We believe that introducing such concepts at an early age builds a foundation for life-long learning.

Unique Learning Experience

Over the past few weeks our classrooms were transformed into Sensory Rooms- each dedicated to a specific topic. These rooms were designed to engage the senses and provide an immersive hands-on learning environment.
The children moved from room to room spending 3 days in each, exploring the topics through interactive activities, creative projects and discussions.
It was amazing to see their curiosity and enthusiasm as they engaged in each theme.

The event was a learning experience for children to celebrate and showcase the diversity, culture and heritage of our nation. Their enthusiasm made the event truly special which helped us in making this event a Celebration of India.

An Inter house Debate Competition with an aim to hone the public speaking skills of the students and teach them to be articulate while expressing their thoughts and opinions was organized by the Secondary Section. This was conducted in English, Hindi and Marathi languages in which the students participated with great enthusiasm and ardour.  

ANNUAL SPORT MEET (DAY 2)

NAVY DAY

Navy Day is celebrated on 4 December every year to recognize the achievements and role of the Indian Navy to the country. The Indian Navy has an important role in securing the marine borders of the country as well as enhancing the international relations of India through seaport visits, joint exercises and humanitarian calamity relief and so on. The Navy cadets celebrated the day with a traditional parade and a ceremonious cake cutting.

ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS

Road Safety Awareness was conducted at the school to promote road safety measures to prevent road accidents in collaboration with Road Transport Office, Turbhe, Navi Mumbai. The Officials from RTO through explained how road accidents are completely avoidable if road safety practices are implemented. They explained the significance of following road safety practices like wearing seat belts, avoiding rage driving, wearing helmets, and abstaining from drunk driving.

HINDI DIWAS

Hindi Day is an important day for the people of India when we celebrate the rich and diverse culture of India and promote the use of Hindi as the national language.  This day was celebrated by the Xavierites with great enthusiasm. Cultural events like poetry readings, music performances, debates and speeches related to Hindi language and culture were organised commemorating the day.

ANNUAL SPORTs MEET – LAKSHYA

The Annual Sports Meet was conducted with great zeal and energy. The Lakshya program has been well received by the students and parents for catching and grooming the young talent and it was a great show put up by the staff and young primary children

CYBER SECURITY WORKSHOP

A cyber security workshop was conducted by Cyber Security Cell, Navi Mumbai Police Department on for the students of Secondary Section to make them aware of the lapses of cyber security and the precautions to be taken while being online without falling prey to fraudulent operations. They were also briefed on hacking and the measures to remain secure online.

During the same workshop the students were also apprised about Good Touch and Bad Touch and how to deal with them by a Lady Police Inspector

Story Telling competition (primary)

Story Telling is a unique way of language learning that creates a participatory and immersive experience.  It inculcates in children the art to enjoy listening to the language in a dynamic, stylistic and entertaining way. Participation using key vocabulary and phrases help create an awareness of rhythm and structure.

The competition was held for Primary students in which the children enjoyed sharing their stories in a way that created an emotional connect. It was an experience to witness how the students created an emotional connection.

International Yoga Day (Primary)

The celebration of International Yoga Day was a resounding success, emphasizing the importance of holistic well-being. Students learned about yoga through a series of engaging activities as well as workshops and experienced its positive impact on their physical and mental health. The celebration of the day marked a significant step towards instilling a lifelong appreciation for wellness among the young minds.

Fancy Dress Competition

Fancy Dress Competition encourages the children to interact socially and forms a perfect ice breaker for building relationships.  It also develops confidence in the students by giving them an opportunity to speak uninhibitedly in front of an audience. A Fancy Dress Competition was held for the Primary Children where they dressed up in their colourful costumes and spoke a few sentences on the character that they depicted.
